Rumah Inovasi is a movement aimed at introducing engineering concepts to children living in orphanages in Jakarta. The hope is that this movement can inspire and foster creativity within them. We aspire to create opportunities for them to innovate and create. Together, let us build a generation that dares to innovate and change the world with engineering knowledge.
What We Do
Hands-On Workshops
We conduct interactive workshops that cover various engineering concepts, from basic circuits to simple machines. These hands-on experiences make learning engaging and fun.
Team Projects
The program encourages collaboration among the students. They work on exciting engineering projects, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Mentorship
We serve as a mentor to the students, providing guidance and support as they explore the world of engineering. This personal connection fosters a sense of trust and encouragement.

Blind Glasses Project
Designed to assist people with visual disabilities by helping them navigate their surroundings more safely. Using a combination of infrared and ultrasonic sensors, the glasses detect nearby objects and alert the user to their presence. This innovative technology aims to reduce the risk of accidents and improve the mobility of the elderly, allowing them to move around with more confidence and independence.
Sand Ranger Project
Focuses on environmental cleanliness, specifically targeting areas with sandy terrains. This robot cleaner is equipped with a scoop intake system and a filter, enabling it to pick up trash from beaches and other sandy locations. By efficiently collecting waste, the Sand Ranger contributes to cleaner environments and helps preserve natural ecosystems.
